Characters that were introduced on the witness stand show their stories of hospitalization and forced medication and their resulting recovery through spiritual transformation and contribution to the mental/spiritual health of society.

Logline to be developed: Stories from around the world of the heroes who survived psychiatric hospitalization to serve the world with their neurodiverse gifts and talents.

ORIGINAL prior to Calling God to the Witness Stand. This is a heroine’s journey to find a prescription for the soul, on a journey through the psychiatric system, of a medicated-obsessed culture determined to lock up innocent people and falsely stigmatizing them with life burdening labels of mental illness.

OR Logline: The true story of a heroine’s journey to find a healing prescription for her soul after navigating her horrific experiences with the mental health system.

Feature length film based on the true story: Call Me Bipolar Do You?™

Audio: Call Me Crazy Maybe

Synopsis: Based on a true story of the tragedy and victory of Janet Werner over being wrongfully stigmatized with mental illness in 1979. Weaving together four decades of success and derailment in business, in life as a single mom integrating experiences within the psychiatric institutions of 1979 and 2005. Armed with proven research and a stubbornness to speak truth the heroine successfully navigates the mental health system over a 40-year journey.

Setting:  Psychiatric ward in hospital. Unique, serious and humorous stories on the psychiatric ward in 1979 & 2005 of the main character, Anna Biltmore normally functioning first as a respectable college student & then later as a successful entrepreneur and single mom…mislabeled as manic depressive, forced on neuroleptics and anti-psychiatric medication and forced hospitalization. Integrating multi-generational stories around the globe that prompt Rethinking How We Think About Mental Health.

Spy in the House of Crazy™  takes place primarily within the psychiatric hospital system interspersed with a credible routine professional life of a woman falsely convicted of a mental illness. The protagonist, Anna Biltmore, demonstrates beyond any unreasonable doubt that she demonstrates mentally sane behavior & cognitive functioning that the audience will relate to.

Sequence of 3 Acts spanning four decades (1979 – 2021)

Spy in the House of Crazy pinball-pings between 1979, 2005 & 2021 similar to how Firefly Lane pinball-pings between the ’70s, ’80s and 2003.

Cross-over media:  Scenes from Spy in the House of Crazy™ are interspersed within episodes of the TV series Calling God to the Witness Stand ™ with similar characters.

Dr. David Rosenhan’s experiment 1969-1972

Spy in the House of Crazy™ demonstrates a real-life example of Dr. David Rosenhan’s Scientific Experiment. Dr. David Rosenhan, Stanford University professor conducted an experiment.  He had 8 perfectly normal people show up at various mental hospitals and make up a story about themselves, incorporating textbook symptoms in order to get admitted. All were diagnosed mentally ill. We offer the 2005 version of Rosenhan’s experiment in real life documenting 40 years of the impact of being misdiagnosed and hospitalized while having a spiritually transformative experience.
